A baby, a basketball and love:

I had the pleasure of photographing this brand new family.. Considering I know this new Mum as a lady slogging her guts out with tyres, burpees and weights – her transformation to a Mum is both weird and delightful. Donna – you are a wonderful new Mum – the photos show just how happy you are already.. Thanks for letting me capture Spencer..

Oh..and I have included a special out take photo just for Jamie..I actually love it – even though she really wasn’t keen on that basketball -the one I did capture I think is really sweet!

Baby +staffy = love

I had the pleasure of capturing this brand new beautiful baby girl last week. I was meant to capture her when she was still on the inside – but she had other plans!!

She’s a little doll..So well behaved and the perfect baby model ever!

Dive into Sketchbook 2014…Awesome..

I simply adored the bright and funky cards and they inspired this layout of my daughter..

I also made great use of the bonus 4×6 stamp set designed by Kelly herself and used them as part of my background..

And as usual I was able to complete this layout only with the help of  the Sketchbook printables by In A Creative Bubble..

Jump over to Studio Calico now! Don’t miss out!!

Camelot sneaks

I dug in and created four layouts with Camelot this month. A few feature our new puppy Benson..Have a look at my sneaks:

And…what a sweet and lovely twist having a mini-album as one of the add-on kits! I adored Excalibur – designed by Maggie Holmes – and whilst initially unsure whether to dive into a mini-album – I eventually packed the kit to take away at Easter. I planned on making a start on the kit after editing my Easter photos. In that way I knew loosely what photos I might include and where to place them. I ended up making the ‘bare bones’ of the album while I was away.
And them I added the finishing touches and my printed photos when I came home. Here’s a few sneaks of my finished Easter album:

Project life updated:

I’ve got this OCD thing about making sure my PL is updated before i dig into my new studio calico kit!! I really wanted to play with Camelot….So i put PL into high gear!!

I’m still using the collect app. Loving it. Still loving the empty spaces too. Here’s one of my recent pages laying on top of those before it to show that it looks cool still:

My most recent pages – there are more of them – as we got a puppy last week:

The ‘be brave’ card i created by screen shotting a quote on IG and printing it. Something a bit different!

I have also added a smaller flip page. I like my little elements with empty space to align where i can too:

Seriously though- i love the collect app. I use an app called pic jointer to print two in a 6×4 size:

I’m also loving printing up my journalling. I mostly use photoshop and my studio calico digital PL cards for this:

So there you have it!! Most editing, journalling and printing all done from my phone!! Onto camelot!
