Roundabout sneaks:

I used every spare inch of Roundabout..Savannah Shore, Navy Pier and Outerbanks this month and managed to create 10 layouts.. So…

Here are July’s Studio Calico kit sneaks for you to peruse:

It’s a Block Party!

Finally time for my first Studio Calico big reveal! The build up has been intense – especially with Christmas thrown in as well! I really loved my first kit, BLOCK PARTY and had lots of fun mixing it up with the add-ons:   Pollard Ave, Pioneer Dve and Woodbrooke Rd.

Can you tell how much fun I had?? Eight layouts in total! Pretty much a record for me during the silly season! Being very new to Studio Calico I must say that I loved the printables. I had always steered away from this type of thing. But they are very easy to use and extremely versatile. I simply printed them onto matte photo paper and I hand cut most of them that you see on pages. Simple enough? I have ordered myself a silhouette cameo bundle and some of my fellow DT members reliably inform me that it will cut out the printables precisely – and then I’ll be able to use the cut-out files available too! I have also used the digital brushes this month. I have printed some on photos and used some as embellishments..The shipping tags you see on a few of my layouts are new to the SC shop too and I love them – go get your hands on them while you can! I need more colours I think!
Stay tuned I’ll let you know how I go next month after I actually get my hands on my cameo!
Thanks for looking!

Woot woot!

A couple of months ago I was invited to be a contributor to a Studio Calico online photography workshop. I was tickled pink – to say the least.. So imagine my surprise when a few weeks later I received an email asking me to be a part of their 2013 creative team!! The following few months have been a whirlwind of excitment, culminating in the arrival of my first kits..I was bouncing around my little scrap space as it gradually became covered in Studio Calico product and boxes!

And apart from all the scrapping goodies…(Just you wait till you see January’s kit….Scrummy much?) Getting to know the ladies listed above has been fab. What a lovely and clever lot of ladies they are!!

I am really looking forward to working with you all!

So as I mentioned..My scrap space is literally covered in Studio Calico product..Which I why I can share these little sneaky peeks with you all:

The layout above is my application…This photo was taken of Milla at bootcamp..one VERY cold Winter morning and the dear sweet thing still managed a smile..Bless her..

The flowere is made from a half a paper doilie all scrunched together.. I have had alot of fun playing with these sweet girly papers.. Some old bunting I located on there as well…

I have more layouts to share AND a giveaway kit as well… I will get around to it I promise!

Stuck for the holidays??

Hi All! Day three sugar free starting well with apple puree porridge..Anyhoo…This is a great sketch over at Stuck this month… I Luuurve circles…

The circle behind Miss H is quilting fabric mod podged down. Every so often I drop by our local quilting shop and pick out a few little swatches of fabric. Just the little squares you buy..

I might do it these holidays because it makes me feel like a kid in a candy store..Can be my sugar hit without sugar! I walk around picking up and putting down fabrics and oohing and aahing over all the delicious, bright colours that surround me..

I always walk out with more than I should. But fabric is such a fun medium in scrapbooking.. You can use it as paper or ribbbon.. Have it smooth..rough.. You can sew it on..Glue over it…

Love fabric:
